There is a difference between the house phone number, and personal phone number. For the house phone number, this is intended to deal with the companies providing a service to the penthouse or as a family. For example you might use the Penthouse’s phone number to place a pizza order. The delivery driver will then call the penthouse’s telephone number, and not some personal telephone number. Since the penthouse’s phone number is likely in their system (repeat callers), then this would simply make sense. If there are any services that would have to be done with the penthouse, then the house number will be called.
A personal number is just that – personal. If I was to make a date with someone, they will call the personal number if they can’t make it for any reason. If CYS was to have foster children for me, they will call a personal line. The same can apply for anyone living with me. Personal means business will be on the personal line. Penthouse needs or business swill be done with the house line.
For the actual phones, there will be a phone on Main Level of the penthouse. There will also be an executive phone in the office, and a last phone in the Upper level’s hall. The phone number will ring all three numbers since there is a ring group that would ring rather than a single particular phone. This makes it easier to answer the phone if it is spread out through the apartment.
