The great room will likely be the main communal room. It will also serve as a media room in the case there is no functioning internet service (unlikely). The great room will have multiple seating areas, and will be designed to support 10 people. This should be more than enough for a 5 bedroom penthouse.
In the corner, there will be a gas fireplace. This is not a need for heat as there is underfloor radiant heat, but provides for a sense of coziness without forcing your hear to strain up to look at the TV, The fireplace is on an exterior wall for the chimney stack to be as short as safely possible.
There will also be a TV wall. For this TV wall, the following jacks will be used:
