All counters, the kitchen island, and mantle will be paperstone. Paperstone has the hardness and resiliency of granite, but being that this is highly compressed paper, it is more economical as I don’t have to settle for a provided for design. I can choose the paperstone of any color I would want, and have it much cheaper than sourcing granite. While I am sure someone will have this fantasy that paperstone is inferior to granite, it is not. In a matter of fact, it can actually be looked to as better since you have more options than just what is available at the time of shopping.
