The upper level will have the bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom in the penthouse (not guest wing) will have a bathroom. This is designed to assure that no young children will have an accident in their clothes. The bathroom will however be the responsibility of those that will use the bedroom. With this being said, it will teach a child responsibility while offering the space that they can call private. I will have 4 secondary bedrooms. This will mean that I will not have more than 4 children in my home. This is intended to give each child a space of their own.
Bathrooms
A shower, sink, and toilet. There is no tub, but this will be a good thing. Showers typically consume less water than tubs, and the water on the body is always clean rather than wading in potentially dirty water. The shower will be a rainfall shower which will be more luxurious feeling, and a more integrated system for the child. If they don’t want the water falling on them, they will just step towards the wall, and there will be no water pouring on them. This is good for lathering up, or using shampoo, and they can rinse off in one sitting. The sink will be functional, and designed in a way to allow maximum usage. For the children that shave, they will have a bowl for hot water so they can rinse the razor in the bowl. This water with shavings will dump in the toilet rather than clogging up the sink’s pipes. In order from entry is toilet, sink, and shower.
The primary bathroom will have a larger shower stall, and a double sink in the case I was to have a signifiant other in my life. As expected, all bathrooms will have underfloor radiant heating, and the child can determine the temperature in their bathroom.
Bedrooms
The primary bedroom will have a 60″ TV, and a queen size bed. On each side of the bed will be a nightstand. This nightstand will an accessory stand to support Qi charging for the watch, earphones, and cellular phone. While the stand will be designed with Apple in mind, I am sure the stand can work with the significant other’s cellular components. There will also be an WP825 on each nightstand. This will provide a place for all of the communications that would be needed. There will be 2 sets of drawers under the bed to replace dressers. There will be a corner desk for each myself and a significant other. The desk will function as a home base for the notebook PC. The primary bedroom will have access to private outdoor space. This will allow me to get out, and enjoy the night at 9PM or when I can’t sleep. There will be 2 corner desks for the notebook PC to have a place to call home.
The secondary bedrooms will have a bathroom (as noted above), a thermostat (both bedroom, and bathroom), a corner desk, a full size bed with a nightstand, and under side drawers to replace the dresser. Everything will be designed around efficiency, and effective use. All bedrooms will have a biometric safe for their personal documents.
