Internet is very important to the penthouse. However, unlike the apartments that are are below, there are two dedicated connections. One will be a non-shared 5GBPS FiOS? connection, and the secondary connection will be a Starlink satellite internet system. This is something that can’t be done with the other apartments, so they are only provided with a FiOS connection and provided for a 300MBPS connection. Since the communications closet has battery backup, the internet will not even go down during a power outage (unless it affects the Starlink dish). All other communications are rooted into the internet for services, so this is very important to keep up and running properly. The choice to not use Xfinity is if something caused the FiOS connection to go down, it is possible that the Cable Internet is down as well.
