There will be an elevator that will go from floor 1 to 31. There is no other floors it would stop, and the space of where there is no elevator, it will just be a wall. By having a private elevator, it will allow me to have a quick, and reliable means of getting to and from my apartment. I am sure someone will complain that there shouldn’t be this private elevator, I am the owner of the building, and I should be able to have a private elevator if I want one.
The other 3 elevators (2 passenger, and 1 freight) will still serve the penthouse floor, but the private elevator will be much faster in both coming and going. There will also be a 3 floor elevator in the penthouse. This will serve all of the levels of the penthouse, and therefore L (Lower), M (Main), U (Upper), and R (Roof) will all be served by this residence elevator. The reason for this elevator is my ankles aren’t getting better. Walking up stairs will be painful. Since there is a residence elevator, there will also be spiral stairs to connect between the 3 floors as well. This means during a fire, I can still escape without using an elevator.
